Threat Monitoring

Turn security signals into a clearer response.

Define what is monitored, how alerts are reviewed and who takes the next step, so important events do not disappear into an unowned queue.

01 / Protect

Visibility is useful when someone knows what to do with it.

More logs do not automatically mean better protection. Meaningful monitoring starts with the systems that matter, dependable telemetry, sensible alert rules and an agreed response path. We help connect those pieces within the coverage you contract.

02 / What we do for your organization

The work, explained.

Your proposal selects the activities and deliverables that fit your environment. These are the areas we can scope with you.

01 / Threat Monitoring

Telemetry and coverage

Understand the sources and the blind spots before relying on a dashboard.

  • Identify in-scope identities, endpoints and network sources
  • Review log availability and collection health
  • Record retention and access requirements

02 / Threat Monitoring

Alert design and triage

Make the queue reflect your environment rather than generic defaults.

  • Review agreed detection rules and severity
  • Document investigation and enrichment steps
  • Track exceptions and tuning decisions

03 / Threat Monitoring

Escalation and containment

Assign decisions before an urgent alert arrives.

  • Name client and vendor escalation contacts
  • Define approval for disruptive actions
  • Separate notification from hands-on remediation

04 / Threat Monitoring

Review and improvement

Use the event history to improve the operating plan.

  • Review repeat alerts and coverage gaps
  • Maintain relevant playbooks and records
  • Report at the agreed service cadence

03 / Deliverables & scope

Know what you are agreeing to.

Before work begins, the proposal identifies what will be delivered, who is responsible and how completion will be reviewed.

  • A monitored-source and coverage register
  • A triage and escalation matrix
  • Documented containment permissions and incident handoffs
  • An agreed reporting view and improvement backlog

Important scope details

Monitoring is limited to named sources, available telemetry and contracted service windows. Tools cannot detect every threat. Forensics, recovery, legal notification and incident remediation are separate responsibilities unless expressly included. Log retention and data location must be agreed.

A clear commercial starting point

Recurring services use an agreed service schedule. Assessments and projects use a defined statement of work. Your proposal states the actual charges, dependencies, exclusions and approval process—before you commit.

Map your monitoring coverage

A useful first conversation

Bring the challenge. We’ll help define the next step.

Tell us which systems or sites are involved, who depends on them, what is not working and any deadlines. Existing diagrams, service agreements or equipment lists help, but you do not need a finished technical brief to begin.

04 / Common questions

A little clarity before we talk.

Does monitoring include incident response?

Not automatically. The agreement distinguishes alert review, notification, containment, investigation and recovery, including who is authorized to act.

Can you use our existing security products?

We assess supported integrations, licensing, access and data quality before agreeing coverage. Not every product exposes the same telemetry.

Will we receive every alert?

The notification plan should explain severity, triage and escalation so contacts receive actionable information rather than an unmanaged stream of events.

How do we know if a source stops reporting?

Collection-health checks and responsibility for telemetry failures should be defined as part of the monitoring design and service scope.

Let’s talk about your next step

Let’s plan threat monitoring around your organization.

Tell us about the systems to monitor, alert ownership and the escalation your organization needs. We’ll help define the work, responsibilities and scope before you commit.
