To our team members, clients, vendors, and partners:
It has been several years since I last sat down to write an annual letter. This is my first since the pandemic, and as I reflect on everything that has happened in that time, there is a great deal I want to share—and even more for which I am grateful.
During those years, much of my attention was on building the company: serving our clients, supporting our people, navigating change, and pursuing opportunities that could help Benchmark grow. That work demanded our focus. Returning to this letter gives me an opportunity to step back, recognize what we have accomplished together, and speak directly about where we are going.
And there is no better year to begin again.
2026 was an amazing year for Benchmark. We exceeded our expectations at turn after turn, and the people behind this company gave us every reason to believe in its future.
I am proud of that progress. I am even more proud of the work, relationships, and determination that made it possible.
A broader vision for Benchmark
When I founded this company in 2004, I believed we could build something meaningful by helping people solve technology problems and treating their businesses with the care we would give our own. More than two decades later, that belief continues to guide us.
Our clients’ needs have grown. Technology now touches nearly every part of how an organization operates, serves its customers, protects its information, and prepares for the future. Our opportunity—and our responsibility—has grown alongside those needs.
Throughout 2026, we continued building a company capable of meeting more of them.
Benchmark Technology Corporation remained at the center of that work, bringing together IT support, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology services. Across our projects and ongoing client relationships, our teams helped organizations maintain the systems they depend on while preparing for what comes next.
We also expanded the businesses and capabilities through which we can serve.
Benchmark Public Sector gave greater focus to our work with government, education, and public institutions. These organizations carry important responsibilities in their communities, and we see a meaningful opportunity to support them with dependable technology and thoughtful service.
Benchmark Procurement took an important step forward with the launch of its public online store, creating another way for customers to access hardware, software, and technology solutions. Our ambition is to make purchasing easier while giving customers the guidance they need to make sound decisions.
Through Broadlink Networks, we continued building our connectivity business and developing the Omnion offering. Reliable connectivity is fundamental to modern operations, and we see a clear role for Broadlink in helping customers connect their people, locations, and services.
SimpliSmart brought renewed energy to our home technology and service business. Its progress this year reinforced something I have believed for a long time: there is room to build a strong business around showing up, doing good work, communicating clearly, and earning the next invitation back.
And through AperVue, we advanced our work in software and business platforms. Building these capabilities has also challenged us to examine our own processes more closely—to understand where technology can reduce friction and where better decisions, clearer ownership, and stronger communication are needed.
Together, these efforts have expanded what we can offer and what we believe is possible.
The people behind the progress
The most meaningful moments of this year often happened far from a company announcement.
They happened when a technician stayed with a difficult problem until it was resolved. When a team member took ownership without being asked. When a client trusted us with another project. When a vendor helped us meet a deadline. When a partner saw potential in what we were building and chose to build alongside us.
Those moments deserve recognition.
To our team members: thank you for your effort, patience, and belief in this company. Working in a growing organization requires flexibility. You have taken on new responsibilities, worked through change, and helped turn ambitious ideas into real work for real customers. I see that contribution, and I appreciate it.
To our clients: thank you for placing your trust in us. We understand that the systems we support affect your employees, your customers, and your ability to operate. Your confidence carries responsibility, and we intend to keep earning it.
To our vendors and partners: thank you for your expertise, responsiveness, and willingness to work with us. Our ability to deliver depends in part on the strength of those relationships. You have an important place in this year’s accomplishments.
Growing with greater intention
An outstanding year also gives us an opportunity to ask better questions about the company we are becoming.
How do we make service more consistent? How do we give our people clearer direction and better tools? How do we ensure that each new business has the support it needs to succeed? And how do we preserve the personal attention that helped us earn our clients’ trust in the first place?
These questions will shape our work in FY2027.
We will focus on clearer responsibilities, stronger coordination across our businesses, and better visibility into the work we perform. We will continue improving our internal systems and customer communication. We will place greater emphasis on training, documentation, and the everyday practices that help our teams deliver reliably.
As Chairman and CEO, I am responsible for making sure our ambitions are supported by the people, resources, and structure required to carry them forward.
Our team deserves that support. Our clients deserve that consistency. And the opportunities ahead deserve careful execution.
Looking ahead with confidence
I enter the new fiscal year encouraged by what we have accomplished and energized by what remains possible.
We have more ways to serve than we did a year ago. We have learned more about our customers, our capabilities, and ourselves. Most importantly, we have people who care deeply about the work and want to see this company succeed.
That gives us a strong foundation for the next chapter.
Returning to this annual letter is also a commitment to make more room for reflection and communication as we grow. There should always be time to recognize our people, share our direction, and thank those who make the journey possible.
Thank you for making 2026 such an extraordinary year. Thank you for challenging us, trusting us, and helping us build a company with a future worth working toward.
I am proud of how far we have come, and I look forward to what we will accomplish together.
Let’s keep building forward.
