Plan Your Technology

Independent contractors

Bring your expertise to work that needs it.

Explore project-based opportunities for independent professionals and crews in cabling, device deployment, field service and site delivery.

Explore the work

Craft, preparation and a dependable handoff.

These areas describe the work, rather than a list of current vacancies. Use the roles directory to see which opportunities are published.

01

Cabling & installation

Site-based work can involve structured cabling, equipment installation and coordination with other trades. Confirm required licensing, insurance, site rules and any permitting responsibilities for each project.

02

Deployment & field delivery

Device rollouts and technology visits need preparation, an agreed task scope and useful completion records. Confirm access, equipment, approved work windows and escalation contacts.

03

Project coordination

Good delivery depends on scheduling, documented changes and acceptance. Know who can approve an adjustment and what evidence is needed for completion.

Before you apply

Know the scope. Agree the terms.

Independent work needs a clear engagement.

  • Deliverables, location, site access and required availability
  • Rates, invoicing, payment terms and approved expenses
  • Qualifications, insurance and licensing requirements where applicable
  • Tools, safety requirements, data handling and project acceptance

Contractor opportunities are independent engagements. Employee benefits and employment terms do not automatically apply.
